Speed Control/EVC

Seen a few posts here - where answer was fit ZeroOff speed control.
I want to fit ZerroOff to a new boat (just ordered) ....This will be powered via Volvo Aquamatic I/O ..... ZeroOff state any drive-by-wire that use EControls' ECUs is suitable.
Anybody fitted one to a volvo.

New boat will have Volvo Aquamatic ... which has EVC comtrol ....... does anyone know is this purely CanBus difital signals by wire, or does it still have a throttle cable, converted to digital at engine end ?

It depends on what throttle control the boat builder uses. Electronic control is fly by wire. Analog control has cables. The dealer you’re working with should have discussed this with you.

Never installed zero off. A EVC electronic control can have a cruise control option downloaded.
