Speedo Inop less than 10 hours on Brand New Boat ARGH

:mad-new:Ok guys pardon my ignorance but I just traded my 03 Larson for an 12 Regal RS 2100, and i love the boat but the first time out the speedo stopped working and its a little frustrating with a brand new boat but again im hoping something simple. It has the VP 270hp SX Outdrive unit on it and I have yet to find anything that looks like a pickup. What am I missing here. Im sure its just obstructed but caanot find anything that even resembles a sensor or pick up besides the Trim Sensor.

Thanks for your help in advance, again I love the boat and the way it handles and her name is EXHAUSTED, as she has the captains call on her hinny (LOL)

The pickup is a small hole on the front (towards bow) side of the drive down at the bottom. There's a channel that runs thru the drive then connects to a tube at the pivot housing. This tube runs to the back of the gauge. A simple pitot design.
