Do you use yours? I'm redoing my dash, and the new gauge set (Teleflex Lido) came with a speedo. I pulled my old speedo when I installed a floscan, and I'm wondering if it's worth putting the new one in. I have a GPS, and use that for my speedometer. I know it will make the dash look 'complete', but...

Should I put it in, or bag it?

Re: Speedometers

If it's a style question, only you can answer.
If you are concerned abut resale, put in the speedo.

If I leave it out, and then go to sell, one of my thoughts was to pull the floscan, and then put in the speedo in at that time.

That would work. The only speedo I have is the readout on the GPS. But then again, who's bragging that they're blowing the doors off at 12 kts?!
