A TRULY ORIGINAL QUESTION. HOW DO I WINTERIZE MY SPORT 120 WHICH IS IN A REGAL RUSH? ANY GOOD MANUALS AVAILABLE FOR THIS BOAT?

same as any other outboard. clean it well and spray a preservative like fluid film on it, treat the fuel with a stabilizer and run it long enough to insure its gets the treated fuel to the carb. DO NOT run that sport jet on the consumer flusher, MUST use the dealer flush fitting that requires removal of the seawater intake line from the power head adapter plate.other than that its a mater of protecting all shiney surfaces with fogging oils,proper greasing and changing the drive and stator housing oils. use only merc HP gearlube.

To add to Rodbolts excellent advice:<br /><br />A dealer flush fitting may be made from a female garden house connector which is threaded to accept a flared fitting to match the hose on the power head adapter plate (the lowest point of the hose). All the pieces can be found at a local hardware store.<br /><br />A good manual would be the original Mercury Sport Jet manual. The Clymer version is just 'ok' I've never seen the Seloc version.<br /><br />fp
