I have a 94' Baja Blast with the sport jet 90 unit. I have just rebuilt the entire engine and electronics. Today we put it in the water and runs great,, except after a munite or so the boat slowed and RPM went up some. I reduced throttle and it seemed to "hook up" but when I got back into the throttle it acts like the clutch in a car when it slips. SO, I idles back to the marina and trailered it home 
I had it in the water a couple weeks ago and ran it 10-15 munites with no problems like this!
I removed the impeller housing and that all looks ok. Impeller is threaded onto the shaft, no keyway like I was hoping for..
So anyone have any ideas?
