Sport jet repower

I have a 1996 Baja with a Mercury sportjet XR120 that is about to detonate. I am wondering if it is possible (and practical) to repower with a Mercury 175 instead. Would it work on the same jet drive? What all would need to be changed? Obvously the impellor would be the wrong pitch.

No to all. The pump housing and nozzel are different as is the tunnel portion of the boat. Stick with the 120.
