Sportjet 175 reverse gate adjustment

I have a 1997 Sea Rayder with the Sportjet 175 xr2.

When looking straight at the reverse gate (basically lying on the ground and looking directly at it) how much of the nossel should be showing?

With the engine in idle, about a half inch of my nossel can be seen. With the boat running and in idle, my boat moves forward a great deal.

I would like to know how low the reverse gate should be set.
