Steelers? Give me good odds and I will take them - can always dream of the 70's dynasty!

Can't let the kids see this post (I am not a Braves or Yanks fan but kids love the Braves), but Braves in 7 over the Yanks.

Re: sports talk

that music city miracle was crap, i was winning on my parlee card, i called my wife from work to see who was winning and she said the bills just scored and there was what a couple seconds on the board? so i said goodby and figured they won! so she calls me back and tells me what happened, i said what the fuk you gotta be shiit'n, only to the bills does things like that happen. i've been a bills fan since the 80's and i'll tell you what! they are heading down thunder alley! drew is ok, not a jim kelly but he can get it done! travis henry can run with the best, and will be among the top 5 backs this year, i really like the aquistion of sam gash he is a devastating blocker and will help give drew more time. the defense is taking large steps to stardom. this draft has really shown me what a great organization the bills have. i was wondering about it after kelly left, the mcgahee pick will pay off, and how bout that linebacker group? they should be fierce! they are starting to look like superbowl contenders real fast!

Re: sports talk

yikes sports and Boston ... It's religion here

MY, Drew is a great QB and still has lots of loyal fans here. Even on his exit he was a class act. He is a very talented guy and should do well. Few QBs throw a deep ball as well as he does. Give him a fast wide out or big tigh-end like a Coates and watch out!

Drew has two really big weaknesses though. First, guys like Belichick know how to get inside his head and totally confuse him. Second, he hates to take a sack and makes really bad throws for interceptions. I mean really crazy stuff. He just hates to eat the ball... When Drew gets what I call happy feet watch out cause he is going to throw nothing but bad passes. When he sets his feet and steps up into the pocket he is sensational.

The Pats were an amazing team year before last. Totally underrated and not at all respected and they used it to their advantage. They played every down with attitude and just plain beat the crap out of the opponents. They were just hard core mean and focused. The Celtics years with Bird were amazing but I think the Superbowl win by that team was bigger. This city was on a high that lasted for weeks.

As for the Sox, when Buckner was kept at 1st with a bum ankle and the ball went through his legs in what should have been the last out of that World Series, I knew the curse of the Bambino was true
