It sounds like the leaf springs on the trailer are squeeking pretty good when I hit bumps. does that mean anything or is there something I can do to remedy?

I dip mine is salt every chance I get. My boat is a 99.9% salt water boat. I use liquid wrench on my springs. Can't ever get the rust to stop but they wont squeak as much.

Had the same problem when I first got my new to me rig. I used something called Clarks Spray Lube for open gears and applied it generously. That one treatment has lasted 3 years so far.
