Squeeze bulb...carb pushes out gas on 5hp

Hello. When I squeeze the fuel line bulb, gas streams out of the carb on a 1991 5hp Gamefisher/Force mod#225.587504. I just ordered a new needle and seat(hasn't arrived yet.) But I have taken the carb off 6x...set the float at factory specs...blew through the fuel inlet and the needle opens and closes as it should. The float has no leaks. I have no idea what is happening here??

Make sure the float is not fuel logged. As long as everything is adjusted properly the new needle and seat should fix it.
