SS Props - Changing Pitch

I may want to have my SS props repitched to pickup some rpms. What is the max that I can drop a 17"?? I seem to think you can not repitch a SS prop much.

Hi SoLittle,<br /><br />I know you can go 2" on the aluminum props. but I believe 1" is about all you can get out of steel..

It's not finished yet. I just got it pitched right. I'm taking it back tomorrow to get the bades thinned and polished.<br /><br />c/6<br />Hooty
