I just bought my boat and trailered it home. Unfornately a spare tire was placed on the seats in the bow and was left there for about 3 weeks. Now the vinyl seats have a large tire print stain on them. I have tried several cleaning products but to no avail. Could anyone suggest any type of product that might do the job. At this point I am getting desparate, so any help is welcomed

Thanks

I wish I had a better answer for your first post but I think your best answer might come from your local upholstery shop. I do know that black rubber stains can be a tough one if they are to be removed at all.

Go to a store that sells paint products,I get mine at wal-mart, get you some goof off. don't saturate it. put some on a rag and use a little elbow grease.

1st mate ,try a little soft scrub.I have had almost perfect results with it on my seats.you can use the one with bleach, just make sure you dont get it on the threads and if you do make sure you rinse it well.Simple green works good too.If that dont work try this.Spray a generous amount of armorall on the stain.Let it sit for a while and then take a firm tooth brush and scrub it firmly while spraying more armor all.You may still see the stain until you wipe it off with an absorbent towel.Charlie

Barkeepers Friend. Make a paste, rub it in, leave it for a couple of minutes and rub away the stain, rinse. :)
