When i removed my two fuel tanks to get at the stringers, i noticed that one was made of stainless steel while the other is a factory aluminum. Should i be concerned with this "custom" fuel tank corroding (i think its 316, but it could be 304) since all of my boating occurs in saltwater? I don't ever recall seeing a stainless one. Could it be a money issue as to why they're not used?

Saltwater is a lot more corrosive to aluminum than stainless....
