Stains from On-Off on galvanized trailer

Anyone have a proven remedy for the dark stains that on-off cleaner makes on the galvanized surface?? I can live with it but would rather remove the stains.It may be more of a chemical reaction since the stuff in an acid.Charlie

it is a chemical burn so to speak.

you could coat the whole trailer with the carp and darken it all, or you can live with it. other option is a tie-coat primer and paint the galvanized trailer

I used a stiff brush and most came off.Trailer is brand new so dont want to start painting or coating with anything.Will use a plastic dropcloth next time.

I might try a light sanding.
