Hi All,

I have some brown stains on the deck of my Wellcraft. The stains are from leaves that got trapped under my Bimini top while the top was folded down on the deck. The stains are also on the blue bimini top material. Of course the deck is fiberglass but without gelcoat, (not shiney) and the stains seem to be pretty stubborn when cleaning with soap and water. I have not tried bleach or other stronger detergents such as "Fantastic" or 409 because I didn't know what effect strong cleaners may have on the deck finish. Also, I didn't want to bleach or change the blue color of the bimini top!

Any suggestions on how to effectively remove the stains would be greatly appreciated!

Re: Stains on Fiberglass

Bleach on a sponge will remove the stains on the fiberglass immediately, make sure you rinse it well.A diluted bleach solution will work on sunbrella as well. You can also try vinegar on the blue canvas and a brush, let it sit wet with vinegar overnight.Post back the results.Charlie
