Stalling a strange way

Strange to me, I am running a 2012 40hp Bigfoot on my old pontoon, it will start right up anytime and run any speed like a new motor , then suddenly it starts to miss or starve and fall on its face not to recover .
The only thing that seems to revive it is to turn off the motor and restart then it runs fine again for ? 2-10 minutes.
I have tried 2 different tanks, checked tank vents, fuel line, and used different fuel. What should I try next? Thanks

Trigger or switchbox issue. when it does this check that it is firing(spark) at plugs

There may be something in the bottom of the vapor separator that gets sucked up onto the strainer for the high pressure fuel pump. Then when the pump shuts off and the suction stops it falls away again.
A start might be to drain the separator and see what comes out.
