First post so be gentle!
I have an older Sea Pro with a Volvo-Penta 5l engine.
The engine starts and runs great until around the hour 3/4 - two hour time. At that point it dies quickly. I can always restart it, needing to use the throttle to feed it gas. But once I do it stalls after a period. The longer I let the engine sit, the longer it goes before stalling again.
I've run it for 1/2 hour at 10, 20, 30 rpm and, until that time limit, it runs great
I don't know much mechanics, but the guy I use has gone through the fuel pump and lines, and most all the systems, but no help.
Any help is much appreciated!
Thanks
