hello, i have a 1999 mercury 115 hp outboard. my problem is that it stalls when i hit about 2800 rpms ish-----just plain cuts out. it's fine when im chugging along at lower rpms. any suggestions?? thanks.
I'd start by looking at the wires comming out of the trigger and stator.Maybe run the motor in the dark and look for arcing as the motor quits.<br />DHP
