stalls at 2000 RPM & pupping

Hi,<br />I have a 454 Block crusader.I have an electronic distributor.Lately the engine stalls at 2000 RPM With a little puppnig. It may sound like a timing problem.I did not tune up the engine this year.<br />what do you think may be the problem?<br />Thanks Bill

The tune up is the first thing to do. Then check your fuel filter and pump.

Hi,<br />To respond to your answer, I have one 200 gal. gas tank.Two engines which feed off the same tank , i don't have any problems with the other engine.

That may be, But,<br />You Still have a Fuel Issue with 1 of your motors........

I just posted the exact same problem with a 454 mercruiser today, did you find the answer?
