Hey!

I'm contemplating scooping up an 8' inflatable with a 5-10HP outboard as a dinghy for the Larson. I have davits on my not-large swim platform that can be used to secure a dinghy, and I could also flip it atop the bow for storage, but I'm not entirely sure where or how I'd stick the outboard when underway. Spilling of gas and oil would be a concern, as would it's security in rough seas when its stowed.

Does anyone know of any small or collapsible mounts for a small outboard? or have any other creative solutions?

Make one to hang off the transom rails. However most small OB's can seal up the fuel system really well for storage/transport. You can also get a lehr propane motor
