I have a 1992 155 commercial Johnson outboard. The recomended Champion plug is a QL16V "surface gap". Is there any reason why I can't use QL77Jc4 instead? I don't use this motor for commercial purposes. Just fishing with the family.

No reason whatsoever. I use 'um and recommend 'um. Gap 'um at .030".

c/6

Hooty
