Starcraft bowrider OB OK?

I didn't know Starcraft made a fiberglas outboard bow rider; I had always associated them with aluminum boats. There's a 2006 barely-used 1700 C-Star 1700 w/90 Merc at a local dealer listed for $16k. He says the purchaser traded it after 12 hours of use for a Sea Ray (maybe he preferred a stren drive, which I don't).

Does anybody have any experience with this boat?

Starcraft has been building Glass boats for Years,....

The 1s I've seen are a Good Reasonably Quality Boat,....

Chinewalker is in Love with the old Starcraft Americans,....

I know the one i have was also available with an outboard. Its old and kind of heavy but is a solid built boat.
The newer models are much different but i think Starcraft makes a good hull..

I cannot speak to current day boat's but ive redone a 93 bowrider, the hull was in perfect shape very strong, the construction seemed well done, very hard to rip out, all of the railing's were and still are in great shape, it was hanging together quite well............. till i got a hold of it...:devil:

Starcraft makes a good boat be it Al. or glass. Try this lin.k for pricing to ensure it makes sense to buy at that price.
