I was wondering what to use to glue a new plywood transom to the aluminum. I have used fiberglas resin on fiberglas boats in the past.

Typically the transom wood in an Aluminum boat is NOT glued to the outer skin. Just do a good job of sealing the wood the prevent water intrusion and bolt it to the boat. Make sure when you drill holes to seal them too!!
