Starcraft Reflooring/New Transome Questions

Thinking of reflooring my Jupiter with aluminium. Has anyone done this? Any suggestions? Thought I might use 3/8" thickmess.

Also thought about using aluminium, 1 3/4", for the transome . Does anyone have any thoughts or suggestions?

I have a Jupiter and I used building grade plywood, with Zavlar liquid rubber to seal it. Low cost.
Transom, Aluminium would be nice, but man... Cha ching!
