Starflight 125hp Ican't read serial number

I have just purchased an Evinrude Starflight 125hp outboard. The serial number plate has been badly corroded and I can't make out either the model number or serial number, are these numbers repeted on the motor anywhere??. The motor is in a poor state and I need the serial number to obtain the correct workshop manual.

G'Day to a pommy. Your motor was built in the early 1970's, Do you know if it has an electric shift gearbox, If so it would be 1972 or older, if mechanical shift box then 1973 or 74

Many thanks for your help Whaley. The motor has an electric shift box so I can put the age at 1970/72. Now to get the manual ordered and the spanners at the ready, I'm sure I am going to have to ask a lot more questions before I've finished this little project.
