Stars next to forum name?

What do the stars indicate next to a forum title?

For example when I go to the waterskiing page next to ?Smart Tabs do they work?? I see five stars to the right of the title.

I just went to "Rate This Thread" at the upper right hand corner of this thread you just started. I gave ya 5 stars which is "Excellent".

LOL......its un cool to rate your own thread....:facepalm:
that is for the democratic process of the forum members.....
people from communist countrys are not allowed to vote on how many stars a thread gets...rather...they wait till they are told what to add stars to....

Just clicked on "rate this thread". It only had 4 stars. I clicked on 5. Gotchya covered.
