start engine trouble

hi, any one please help me with this.I have a 1973 mercury 85hp outboard on my siera cuddy cabin hard top,i had all the wire,cable,gas pump ,i mean every thing all good,i also do tune-up too.but when i try to start the engine in the morning it wont start,i keep turn key about 10 to 15 time still dont start,then i just leave it about 2 hours,come back try to start,it right on.then this happen same thing,if i leave it couple day.i dont why ,it most be some not right about the gas or some thing.can any ony have any idea about this.thankyou.

You posted your question in a "Propeller Forum" when it should have been posted in the "Mercury Outboard" forum. Are you using the choke properly? Warm up (fast idle) lever raised while starting? Do you squeeze the primer bulb to get fuel to the engine before attempting to start it? In other words -- exactly what is your starting procedure?
