Iv'e just started posting here a couple of weeks ago when I bought an old 78 115 sea horse for 200 bucks. Compression was even, just under 100 or so and the motor was clean inside and out.
It had been sitting for ten years or so, well today I attempted to start it. All I did to it before hand was to run some seafoam into the cylinders and carbs and let it soak for a few days and change the lower end lube..
Today I put the muffs on and gave it three pumps on the ball and turned the key a few times, choke it and Bam she fired up and ran, no sputters no misses, just too high rpm. so I shut it down and started it a few more times, couldn't get the rpm down so I shut it down.
I had some gas coming out of the carbs while it was running. Any tips would be appreciated. I'll wait to start it again until after the manual gets here. AAAAWSOME !!!!
And Thanks for all of the help, great site with some good people here. ....Bill
