I have a 1996 Chaparral 1830 with a 4.3L mercruiser motor, carbuerated. While out on the lake wakeboarding or tubing I will sometimes shut off the engine to let people on & off, jump in the water, etc... Sometimes the boat will not restart. I turn the key and the starter warning signal is much lower than normal. When I turn the key to start I get nothing. If I let the boat sit for 5-10 minutes it seems to reset. Also, I have disconnected the battery cables, then re-attached. This seems to reset it as well. Looking for help to track down the problem.

Ayuh,.... Welcome Aboard,... The battery terminals, the wirin' ends, 'n the Other end of the wire's wirin' ends are no doubt Corroded,...

Remove 'em, clean to Shiny metal Clean, 'n reassemble,... Then slather 'em with Grease to keep 'em clean,...
