I took it to a shop, and they looked at it and did the general test (and I know the mechanic) he said there was good compression and it was a good motor, but his shop would not work on it because of the age. He gave me a recommendation of another mechanic where I took it and said it was the starter, but it was the start of covid and replacement parts were not coming across from Canada, and I also suspect he didn’t want to put a lot more time into it. It is part of a 1959 Razorback that I am trying to keep together if I can.
