Starter & Fuel Pump 84 evinrude

I have a 1984 140 evinrude and I need to rebuild my starter but the boat shop wants like 80. Where can I find the parts to do it myself. It can't be all that hard. Also I wanted to get the fuel pump kit but I was told that for my year I have to replace it because they don't make one is this true. Please help...Any input will be appreciated. Thanks

NAPA auto parts list parts for your starter.<br /> They dont list a fuel pump repair kit,<br /> stops at 83. <br /> Be aware some NAPA branches dont have a clue about their 600 page marine products catalog.<br /> You may have to deal with a main store.<br /> Someone may be along with info on the pump.
