I believe its a 73 winnabego....With a dodge motor(dont know the specifics)Im one of 4 guys that own this motor home and we use it 1time a year for the nascar race....Well its getting to be that time again where we get it out of storage and getting her ready for the trip in june..... Problem is only 2 owners had keys and right now both owners cant find their sets of keys..... We can break in from a window that doesnt lock up and unlock the door, but im concerned about getting it started.....Really dont want to sing much $$$ into it as we will only use it for another year or two ...So thinking about installing a toggle switch on the dash just like the nascar has.....Anybody know how this can be done? Wiring diagrams? And once its started how do you shut it off if using said toggle switch?

I know this sounds so redneck, but hey it is nascar isnt it?

get a locksmith to break in (pop a lock). and replace the ignition switch, or have him make you a lot of keys. A toggle switch won't work. you need 3 positions on the switch, involving a spring inside.

have to make sure anything that needs power with ignition gets turned on with the switch... If your not concerened with theft, it's a nice way to go in my book.... and like SBN said, hit a button to start.

You may be able to get any dodge dealer to look up the Vin of the vehicle and make you a key.Not sure if they keep records for that old of a vehicle but its worth a try.
Thats how repo guys get keys.At least it will get the ignition key..

In a movie, I saw this guy just reach under the dash and twist two necked wires together. Looked easy enough to me. :$

unplug the ignition switch and use a paper clip, jump the hot wire (Bat) to the terminal that needs power (ACC), leaving one "leg" of the paper clip to start with, to kill it pull the clip d:)
Do the doors use the same key, the ones I have looked at do not use the same key for the doors and are very easy to pick. Get the door open, pull the ignition, go to your local salvage and ask to go through there keys, or just replace the ignition.

you should be able to replace the key & tumbler for about 20 bucks, thats the easy way to go, and it will be right when you are done
