Had a starter go bad recently. Local shop wanted $160 to rebuild. Got an email from a fiberglassics poster recommending Fred's Marine in Bartonville, IL. I sent it to Fred, he replaced the armature and shipped it back to me for $55. I have it on the motor now, but my battery is dead, so I must wait patiently while she charges.
