I recently purchased an electric start kit for my 1998 3 cyl 40HP mercury, The instructions say that the black lead from the starter switch must be connected between the white lead from the timing protection module ( switch box) and the neutral start switch. The timing protection module on my motor has 4 wires coming from it, a black (the ground) black and yellow,tan or light brown and purple. Which on of these do i interrupt??<br />Thanks for the help! <br />Kirk
