Starter mounts on 4.3 mercruiser, 1995

1995 crownline, 18’. Starter mounts on motor broke, side of mount hole broke off. Tried to repair with J&B weld, but no success. Need any ideas on how to repair. Thanks, Michael Greene

If you mean the engine block, you need a new block, and the correct starter bolts so it dosent get loose again

I have seen a number of broken blocks. I have yet to see a decent fix short of replacing the block.

Ayuh,..... Welcome Aboard,...... As noted above, the only reliable fix is to replace the block,.....
