I replaced the starter on my Volvo Penta 431 A V6 motor. I noted the wiring before I removed it - there was one terminal with all the positive leads and a small post with one lead. The new solenoid has two small posts and one large post. I hooked up the new starter and put the small lead on one of the posts and the starter does not turn over? Any ideas? Did I do something wrong with the wiring? Any help appreciated. I'd like to get it on the water tomorrow. Just to note, not shown in the picture of the new starter is the actuall positive battery cable hooked up. The connector on the end actually broke off, but I did have it hooked up when trying to start the boat. IMG_25031_zps2aaa63a6.jpg IMG_22731_zps89a84411.jpg IMG_25011_zps759bb6f2.jpg

It's very possible that the wire with the red ring terminal is attached to the wrong terminal of the solenoid. Try it on the small terminal on the left.
