Starter?

Hello,

I have a volvo 5.0 that I am having trouble starting. I turn the ignition key and I get nothing. After turning the key a number of times it will click. If I keep turning it will finally start.

I changed the solenoid and sprayed contact cleaner on the switch.

I changed the starter 2 or 3 years ago.

Is there anything else I can try before I take the starter off?

Volvo has used both 5.0L Ford and GM engines and things changed over the years, what Volvo model number do you have and what year?

I have the 5.0 which is the Ford Motor.
