hey guys:
Last year I had a starter installed in my boat it has a valvo penta 4.3 engine " its a PITA to get too...... last weekend while on the water I stopped at the marina, and when i left the boat died. it's sometimes cold nature, went to start it back up and it turned over a time or two then nothing.....I'm getting clicks trough the relay. everything else looks good....NEW battery......The starter is WAY down there. and I cant get a meter on it. however I did feel down there and the wires seem good.. wondering if this starter went out?
is this common?
plan on taking it to the shop bur would like to see if there is anyhting else I may be missing. all lights work fine. I can get a click or two from the starter, from time to time. have rechecked the throttle postion and emergancy shut off....
