I am having starting issues. My engine is a 1997 Volvo Penta 5.7L TBI. I can unplug the ect sensor and the engine will crank up as soon as you turn the key, but with the sensor plugged in I have to keeping cranking to try to get it started. I have replaced the ect sensor, but didn't fix the issue. I recently (couple week ago) replaced the low pressure fuel cell, because the old one had gotten weak. I will say with the sensor plugged in, on a cold start the engine will fire up, but as the rpm's come down to idle it will shut off. When I try to start it again it just want to crank. Any ideas??
Thanks,
