starting problem

repowered with 260 mc EFI engine last year. this year intermittent starts or clicking only. now only clicking. checked or re-crimped all connections, fuses, cables, new ignition. still only clicks. can it be starter? engine has no more than 20 hours. any other suggestions? thx

1) load test battery. put a vom on battery and see what volts you get at no start and start conditions. 2) solenoids, slave and/or starter solenoids bad 3) starter. you might be able to run a jumper wire from the + post over to the start post on the solenoid and see what happens and also run the wire directly to the starter post.

Before you go try all that, clean the battery connections and give it a shot.
