I am having difficulties starting a Merc 650. I lack the knowledge to isolate diagnostics of this system. <br /> Im pretty sure that fuel was not run out of the carburetors prior to storing. It takes about 30 40 minutes of romancing to get the motor running. The motor starts OK when warm.<br />The choke does not completely cover the carb when engaged. Should it? <br />Spark is getting to all cylinders, however I noticed 1 dry plug when checking for flooding.<br /><br />What else should I check prior to carburator dis-assembly, cleaning & float adjustment? Choke should be addressed?<br />Am I missing something?
