Trying to troubleshoot an OMC control electric start for my 1985 Johnson Evinrude 30 hp 16' aluminum Springbok. I've installed a donated contol because the original's tumbler on the ignition switch went. I thought it might be easier to switch out the entire control than disassebling it for the igniton switch.
What is the proper starting sequence for an OMC electric control ?
Can I bypass the emergency kill switch ( I have no lanyard) ? If so how ?
