Dumb Idaho Laws<br />Illegal for a man to give his sweetheart a box of candy weighing less than fifty pounds. <br /><br />You may not fish on a camel's back. <br /><br />Riding a merry-go-round on Sundays is considered a crime. <br /><br />Boise <br />Residents may not fish from a giraffe's back. <br /><br />Pocatello <br />A law passed in 1912 provided that "The carrying of concealed weapons is forbidden, unless some are exhibited to public view." <br /><br />A person may not be seen in public without a smile on their face.

Well, if the population weren't so heavily mormon I would say they were making booz out of all those potatoes.<br /><br />I once visited the Idaho State lottery. The HQ was hidden behind another building. You had to drive through someone elses parking lot to get to it.<br /><br />We all joked that they told their winners "Congratulations you won the lottery! You have 60 days to find us to collect. Good Luck!"<br /><br />The drawings weren't even televised. They once had a snow storm and couldn't televise the drawing. Nobody called them to complain so they never aired another drawing! They did them in a conference room and taped it in case anyone ever questioned the results. No joke.<br /><br />It's nice to have a monopoly on a vice!
