Oh man I'd love to know the story behind that law! Were people being fleeced buying "rare" orange chicks?

It is illegal to fish with a bow and arrow in Kentucky.
Ha, Ha, Ha, Ha.... cough, cough, cough, Ha, Ha, Ha. Oh man that's a good one!

Boy I miss KY! Funny for a place where you are assumed sober, it's tough to find a liquor store!

Re: State of the day(Kentucky)

i imagine the law about dying baby chicks is related to the easter holiday, when the colored chicks are sold. i remember way back when a young tot, there would be vendors with them in cages on the street corners similar to the flower stands popping up prior to holidays.
-just a thought

btw: they were usually pink. sometimes light purple :)

Darn I almost said pink too! But that was just too cute.

Since they were being sold in celebration of a religious holiday, isn't that an example of the government not allowing freedom of religion?

SBN - you should call the ACLU and see if they will take the case :D :D :D
