I wants to ask you guys how are you being charged for your usage of state parks? especially those of you lives in a state without income tax. Here in IN, they have done away with boat launch permit but instead a motorized($20) and non-motorized boat permit, our state park annual entrance pass($36) jumped a whopping 12 bucks from last year, fishing license gone up to $17, boat registration included a $5 DNR fee, $5 "lakes and rivers enhancement fee", the price of an electric camp site on state park is almost $30/night. We have state income tax also. Man we're sucks! Oh yeah, what is the condition and accessibilities of your state parks?

Well our annual park entrance pass is $25, but out fishing liscense has gone up to I think $20 now......Our "Lake enhancement Fee" is optional. FWIW most of the boat landings around here are $5-$6 for a daily pass.......although up north they re usually free. <br /><br />BTW- We have an income tax also.....a very high one. So basically I figure you expenses are equal to ours at best, but probably much less overall. The one good thing we have going for us is the boat registration lasts n extra year at no extra cost.

I'll bet it "pays" to be old at lots of places. JB here the fishing liscense for a Senior here is the same as someone less that 18yrs old......then at some point you dont have to pay. Same for you?

fishing permit $25<br />ramp pass $30, also covers swimming and day use areas or $3 per day for each area. but only for corp lakes, others are whatever the local town thinks they need for it, and may also need fishing permits for that lake/area. some are in good shape some are not. I always get the year pass,,,,,,<br />camping, $16 (I think) for corp lakes, others are whatever the town thinks they need for it!<br />boat tags well mine is old so they are not as much and I get the 3 year tags. boat and outboard each have a tag, $5 per year each for mine.<br /><br />Some lakes I don't mind spending these fees, others,,,,,,,,,,,
