Had my stator replaced several years ago. I was told then that the design had changed and I was getting the updated stator installed.
Now many years later I have a problem and I am trying to diagnose my trouble. My manual says I have four wires coming from my stator....I don't, I now have only two. The original had red (2) and blue (2) wires and the stator I now have has green wires. So the test that is called out in my manual I assume is incorrect since I require all four wires to do the test.
Any idea why the change was made?
Any idea what my reading should be on this stator?
(stator # 398-832075-A3)
Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated.
