Stator output

Hi everyone. Is there a way to tell from looking at the motor or rectifier what is the Amperage output of the charging system please, to make sure I do not overload the system with lights and accessories. Cheers

Sometimes the alternator has a label on it. If not, can you give specifics on the boat, motor, size of engine, etc.?<br /><br />There are a lot of people here with who can help if you supply specifics.

Thanks all. It is a 1979 Johnson 70hp. In Australia. The Clymer manual lists all that were available but not the differences to enable identification.

In the Rapair manual it says that it's 9 amp
