- Stator Questions

Bt Doctur.. OK, I can move our conversation about the removal procedure of the stator on my Mercruiser 165 here. As I said on te other forum, my ultimate goal is to repair/replace a leaky water pump. I do appreciate all you help and advice!

the other website would not let me send a email to him, I asked him to come to this site. trying to do the cam seal repair on his 470. This should get you started until I mail the cd. http://boatinfo.no/lib/library.html

The leak isn't from the water pump, it is from a seal on the camshaft that separates the coolant from the engine oil.

Many of us on here have done the job so feel free to ask questions along the way...
