Steam coming out ??

I have an 87' 150 Merc BlackMax - which is running well (knock on wood). She idles fine, runs hard fine no other issues. <br /><br />When running (at any stage), I notice what appears to be steam comming out of the back. Definetely not the oil smoke. Temp outside (weather) does not seem to make too much of difference, but is more noticeable on cooler days.<br /><br />Is that normal / OK ?<br /><br />Thanks John

Is there water coming out of the pee hole? If not, or if it is weak, I would say change your impellor.

Water is coming out of pee hole nicely & it has a new impeller.<br /><br />Any other ideas?

My 1993 150 hp black max does the same thing,but dosent seem to be running hot.I dont notice it as much since the water got above 70 degree's
