ok so i was on the lake this week end the first time of the season and i would turn left with no problem but when i would goto turn right the steering wheel would just click and not turn so i moved the outdrive to the right manual and then the steering wheel would only turn right and when i got to the center it would click again and not move to the left i don't know if this is the right thread but it is a mercruiser alpha one i was wondering if you could be a bald spot ont the cable or like a broken tooth in the steering box im not sure but thats why im glad there is i boats
